With Pet Phone you track everything from vet visits to weight history to allergies. Here are some of the features of Pet Phone that will help you keep your pet healthy and happy:

- Keep track of multiple pets.

- Store multiple vets for each pet. Your pets dont have to go to the same vet. With Pet Phone you can have multiple vets stored and keep track of appointments for each vet.

- Track Vet appointments and store the reasons for each visit. We provide a list of reasons and provide a way to easily enter custom reasons.

- Weight Tracking. An overweight pet is not ideal. If you enter your pets weight after each vet visit Pet Phone will allow you graph those weights to visually see if your pets weight is getting out of control. You can also set an ideal weight range for your pet and Pet Phone will alert you on the main screen whenever your pet goes over the max weight or under the min weight.

- Locate a vet near your current location. In case youre not around your usual vet and your pet needs help you can automatically search for vets near your current location.

- Medications Tracking. Just enter the name, dosage and the start and end dates and you can quickly see what types of medications your pets are on. When the end date is reached the medication is stored off in a previous medications category so you always have access to them.

- Allergy Tracking. If your pet is allergic to something you can store the name, severity, and notes about the allergy so that you know exactly what to tell vets if they ask about allergies.

All of this bundled into a very easy to use interface makes tracking your pets simple. So get rid of the paper mess and let Pet Phone simplify your pets health records.

Pros and cons of Pet Phone app for iPhone and iPad

Pet Phone app good for

I enjoy this app. Crashed a few times at the start. Then I restarted my iphone and it solved that. There should be a way for you to input the vets info from google maps as they send you there anyways. Maybe I havent figured it out though. Picture of the app is kinds corny. A nicer pic would be nice. Other then that the app is helping me keep track of my lil girls appointmets and such.
Id give this five stars if I could take pictures of vet receipts/info to tag it directly to my pet - that way Id always have it on hand!
Another great app from bedaronco. Pet approved. This app allows me to easily keep track of my dogs (5 of them) info; birthdays, vet appointments, allergies, meds, weight etc. Tap the vets phone number and call your vet instantly. There is even a feature to find local vets for when you and your pet are traveling. I highly recommend for all iphone/itouch pet owners. I did notice that you cannot trasfer vet information from your contacts or from the map search but that was not a showstopper and didnt warrent even a fraction of a star loss.
Ive been watching for something like this. With a whole herd of pets (dogs, cats and horses), keeping their vet records straight is a challenge. Having the information on my phone will be a godsend when Im at the vets office and they want to know when Fluffy was diagnosed with allergies, or when Fido was last vaccinated for Lyme. I gave the app 4 stars because theres definitely room for improvement. The big thing thats missing is a "note" section for vet appointments. Id like to be able enter details -- just entering the procedures/vaccinations given is not enough. Id love to see a reminder feature, so I know when its time for Frontline or when a pet is due for vaccinations. Entering a date for a past vet appointment is tedious, because you have to scroll back on a pull-down menu -- Id like to put in the vaccination records for my older animals, but Im not going to scroll back a whole decade. And Id also like a "note" section under pet info, so I can enter registration/microchip numbers and other details. But overall, for a first effort, this is wonderful, well worth the money, and desperately needed. I look forward to the updates!
I like this app a lot. Its great to have all the information on all my pets in one place. I would really like it if you added a field for entering Microchip information.
With managing a ranch with many animals, this app is the best available. The developers are definitely on the right track for helping the serious animal/pet parent keep detailed records. Hopefully, in later updates we will be able to add Microchip #s and Rabie Tag #s. Being able to add notes to vet appts (as noted in another review) and be able to edit past vet appts would be very helpful! Thank you!

Some bad moments

For example looking for a pets doctor gives wrong results. Definitely too expensive for what it is.
Useful additons could be: male/female; health certificates (hips, elbows, eyes, hearing, other); dog shows (sections: location, date, judge; planned/entered; championship awards); breeding (females: seasons, breedings, litters), (males: stud service)
I potentially like this BUT, I put my first animal in and now it will not take any other animal. It only allowed me to put in one. A little frustrating based on previous reviews!
Bought this by accident with because i turned on one click buy. So I figured i paid 5 bucks for it so i might as well use it. I soon realized it is worthless since you can already put a pets appointment on your calender. Totally not worth $5.
This app crashes on me frequently. Also once you enter an appointment, you can never access it again once the appointment is in the past. I entered a bunch of past appointments and notes for them, but cannot access them. Not good at all if you want to keep an accurate history of your pets medical treatments.
This is a good start on a pet medical application. The user interface is nice and the app lets your store some useful information like birthday, weight, and appointments. However, at the end of the day you can do almost all the same things for free with evernote or another free note application. I also wish you could send this information to other people Dog sitter, walker, etc). The interface isnt as pretty but I think MiPets is a better overall pet medical application.
